I'm getting a directx error when playing certain maps on COD 5.
One of the maps being Asylum.
When this happens, XP plays the error sound and the game freezes. The computer hasn't really crashed as its still responding to alt + tab. But all I see is the cursor appearing over the game loading screen. So I can't see what the directx error is, and I don't know if theres a directx error log?
Anyway, my graphics drivers are up to date and working with all other games, and i've updated directx from both the game disc and microsofts official latest realease.
So i'm stumped. Its pretty much renders the game unplayable since whenever I join a server, if one of these 2 or 3 maps are played, im f..ked lol.
Co-op mode runs fine and the maps that work are all fine aswell.
Anyone got any ideas? Or having the same/smilar problems?
