I have two isp's comming into our house.
NTL cable and BT isdn or whatever they call it now.
my ntl is supposedly the 20MB package and the BT line is around 8mb.
BT is a wireless connection
I do alot of downloading and online gaming (Medal Of Honour).
what i want to do is have NTL do my downlading and have MOH use the BT connection, so i can play while downloading...
is this possible? if so what and where do i do what i need to do to make MOH just look for my BT connection while i use NTL to download ? Im using XP pro if it helps and it wont matter if something gets broke in the process as my puter is naffed anyway and if it dont work, when i get my new stuff i wont try it on that
please dont just say it cant be done if your not sure, as im sure it can.... i just dont know how to do it or what to change to make it do it.
Danke for any help guys

Just a thought, never tried it.
If you have 2 network cards on your pc (2 wired or 1 wired +1 wireless) connected to the 2 different modem/routers, you can try this:
- Install "Vmware Server" or "microsoft's Virtual PC" software (Both are free, vmware is heavier cause it runs background services but has more features, one of them is that can take any operating system win/linux/solaris) I suggest to use Virtual PC if you'are new to virtual machines
- Create a new virtual machine installing windows XP
- Assign to it the network card that connects to the ISP you want to use to download files.
If it works you will be able to browse and download through the virtual machine's Internet Explorer and play through your physical pc.
Even if it doesn't work you can keep you virtual machine to install and try every stupid software that trashes up your windows and registry, keeping your physical windows tidy. That's what I do

| I run microsoft vm when i build new windows cds for myself as a test bed, both it and vmware are resource hungry, i did test vmware and it left a lot to be desired to be honest. for testing "dodgy" software theres always sandboxie or other sandbox software.
