If the server is running a map and you have certain sounds that wont play (footsteps etc), there is a fix available here.

Ok ive uploaded a new sound fix, the link is in the post above, if you installed the previus fix please delete zzzzzzzzzy2k6soundfix.pk3 from your maintt folder BEFORE installing the new fix
The fix now add the sound for the exploding barrels for all you sick and twisted people out there

You assume correctly, actually most of the clan seem to have a fetish for exploding barrels at the moment...
