There are a few minor differences in this cod 4 freezetag, so here is the info

To melt you can only use your use key  while looking directly at the frozen player, standing in there body does NOT work.

There must be at least 2 players on each team before the game will even start.

Frozen players are SOLID, so dont try to run through them.

quick way to see were your team are frozen if thay not in vent is quickly press escape that will show were you team are .
unfreeze dont always work unless you get most of the ice block in view.

i noticed this too, the ice block has nothing to do with the melt , you must be pointing to the player inside the iceblock for it to work...
